1. What is an impression?

An impression is our unique interpretation of a designer or luxury fragrance, offering an essence similar to high-end fragrances at an accessible price. It's crafted to echo your favorite scents while being distinct and original.

We operate with full respect for trademarks and intellectual property, ensuring all our creations are within legal boundaries. Our impressions are inspired by, but not identical to, designer fragrances, emphasizing our commitment to legality and ethical practices.

 

2. Why are the bottles amber glass?

Our choice of amber bottles is deliberate, serving both aesthetic and functional purposes. Amber glass provides a classic, timeless look that complements the refined essence of our fragrances. More importantly, it plays a crucial role in preserving the quality of the perfume. Amber glass protects the fragrance from sunlight and UV rays, which can alter and degrade the delicate balance of scent notes over time. This ensures that your perfume maintains its integrity and fragrance profile from the first spritz to the last.

 

3. Why perfume oil?

We choose to use perfume oils for their remarkable depth, longevity, and personal touch. Perfume oils are concentrated fragrances that interact intimately with your skin's natural oils. Unlike alcohol-based perfumes, oils provide a more subtle, yet persistent aroma, offering a scent that lingers beautifully throughout the day without overwhelming.

Perfume oils are also kinder to your skin. They're moisturizing, don't evaporate as quickly as traditional perfumes, and are free from the drying effects of alcohol.

Our perfume oils have between 15-20% aromatic compounds compared to EDT which have around 10%.

 

4. Where do I apply the perfume oil?

Applying perfume oil effectively is key to unlocking its full potential for lasting fragrance and personal allure. For the best results, we recommend applying perfume oil to pulse points where the warmth of your body can enhance the scent. These points include:

• Wrists: Gently dab a small amount of perfume oil on your wrists. Avoid rubbing them together, as this can break down the scent molecules.

• Behind the ears: A touch of oil in this area can create an enchanting aura as you move.

• Neck: Applying to the base of your throat allows the scent to rise with your body heat, subtly enveloping you in your chosen fragrance.

• Inside elbows: This less obvious spot is perfect for a personal scent that lingers close to you.

• Behind knees: Ideal for summer or when wearing dresses, as the warmth from this area helps project the fragrance beautifully.

Perfume oils are concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Start with a small amount and adjust based on your scent preference and the occasion. Remember, the goal is to create a subtle, personal scent experience that enhances your natural chemistry.

 

5. Do the oils contain alcohol?

Our commitment to purity and quality is reflected in every drop of our perfume and aromatherapy oils. We're proud to say that our perfume oils are 100% oil-based, without any alcohol. This ensures a more concentrated fragrance that lasts longer and is kinder to your skin.

Similarly, our aromatherapy and beard oils are crafted with pure essential oils. These oils are extracted from plants, capturing the essence and therapeutic properties of the botanicals. The absence of alcohol in our essential oil products means they maintain their natural potency and provide the full benefits they're renowned for, from relaxation to invigoration, depending on the blend.

 

6. When will I receive my order?

Generally, we require around 3 business days to prepared and processed your order, where it is a layered mix, this may take 4 business days. Once processed, the shipping time will vary depending on your location GCC shipping 1-5 days, Rest of World is around 10 business days.
